Cary Elwes, Jason Alexander join Krayon Pictures’ Delhi Safari

Fantastic Films International heads Roxane Barbat and Fred deWysocki are handling worldwide presales on the 3D animated Bollywood adventure and will be introducing to buyers in Cannes.

Elwes will voice Sultan the leopard and the Bee Commander and Alexander will bring to life the Male Flamingo and the Hyena Cook.

Delhi Safari is produced by Krayon Pictures of India and tells of a group of animals who set off on an adventure to preserve their habitat as it comes under threat from developers.

“Delhi Safari is like a Bollywood Madagascar that also has a very topical green message of saving the forests and saving the animals,” deWysocki said. “In fact the producers, Krayon Pictures of India, have received an endorsement of the film by PETA. We are delighted to have Cary and Jason lend their talent and voices to this wonderfully entertaining family film.”

There seemed to be a weekend “rush” of traffic at AFM. While an inordinate amount of locals loitered in the lobby and around the pool, a fresh round of filmmakers joined the festivities with discounted three-day passes around their necks.
